For a laugh-out-loud awful caveman movie, "10,000 B.C." grossed a healthy $94 million during its theatrical run. It's best appreciated on a so-bad-it's-good level.
"10,000 B.C." (PG-13) -- Roland Emmerich ("Independence Day," the 1998 "Godzilla" remake) wrote and directed this tale of D'Leh (Steven Strait), a hunter who risks life and limb to save his girlfriend, Evolet (Camilla Belle), after she's kidnapped by barbarians. Skip this and rent "Apocalypto" instead, which dishes up tastier, more action-packed corn.
